The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the much-awaited board exam datesheet. Since the academic session 2025-2026 for class 10 and class is coming to an end, this phase is a turning point for students. CBSE (2025-2026): Important Dates

The CBSE 2025-2026 academic calendar has been released. CBSE has released several notifications regarding the board exams on its official website. The class 10 and class 12 exams start on 17th February, 2026.

CBSE Class 10 Date Sheet 2026

The official CBSE Class 10 (2025-2026) board exam datesheet has been released on October 30, 2025. The date sheet is well planned, providing sufficient gaps between exams. All the class 10 exams will start from 10:30 in the morning and end at 1:30 PM. The exam is for 3 hours.

CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2026

The datesheet for CBSE Class 12 (2025-2026) has been officially released on October 30, 2025. Class 12 exams will start on 17th February, 2025 and will end on 10th April, 2025. Students are advised to go through the datesheet carefully and note down the dates of their subjects on a sheet.

NOTE: CBSE has recently revised some exam dates. The datesheet below is updated according to the revised dates.

How to Download the CBSE Datesheet?

Students can now download the tentative CBSE Board exam class 10 and class 12 datesheet for the session 2025-2026. To download the datesheet pdf, follow these steps:

• Visit the official CBSE website.
• Click on the tab called Pariksha Sangam.
• A page will open with many tabs. Click on the tab called “schools” or “Ganga.”
• Open the Exam reference materials tab.
• Next, choose the option “examination circulars”.
• A list of all the circulars released by CBSE related to the board exams will be displayed. Click on the link named date sheet for class X and XII board examinations 2026.

Students can view the datesheet. They can also download the datesheet. Students are advised to stay updated with all the new circulars released on the official website to avoid missing any important updates.

CBSE Board Exam Timings

The board timings are uniform throughout the country for all class 10 and class 12 exams. The theory papers will supposedly be held in the morning shift. The students are supposed to reach the centre at the reporting time. Here is an overview of the exam timings:

• The reporting Time is 9:30 AM.
• The time allotted for Answer Book Distribution is 10:00 AM.
• Students are allotted 15 minutes of reading time from 10:15 AM – 10:30 AM.
• Exam Duration: 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM (check datesheet for exact time of every exam).

CBSE Board Exam Day Guidelines 2026

CBSE has set certain exam day guidelines for class 10 and class 12 to ensure the exams are conducted smoothly. And students do not face any issues during the exam. Students are advised to follow the guidelines strictly, which will be mentioned in the admit card.

• Students should arrive at the examination centre 30-45 minutes before the given reporting time.
• Students have to carry their admit card as well as their school ID. Entry will not be allowed without these.
• Only transparent stationary items are allowed – pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners and geometry boxes.
• No electronic devices are allowed. Electronic items such as calculators, smart watches, mobilephones, Bluetooth devices and headphones are strictly prohibited.
• The seating arrangement according to the roll numbers will be displayed at the examination centre. Candidates should be seated accordingly.
• Students are not allowed to leave the examination hall until the exam ends.
• The question paper is distributed 15 minutes before the examination starts.
• The students can start writing only when the announcement is made.
• All details asked in the booklets must be filled without fail.

CBSE Board Results 2026 (Class 11 & 12)

The result date has not officially released by CBSE. The CBSE board exam of both class 10 and class 12 starts on 17th February, 2026. And the board exam of class 10 ends on 11th April, 2026. And the Class 12 board exams end on April 10th, 2026. Based on previous year results trends, an estimated date can be calculated.

• The estimated results date for the Class 10th boards – Last week of April – Early May, 2026
• The estimated results date for the Class 12th boards – May 2026

These are the estimated result dates. As per the previous year’s trends, CBSE usually releases the results 40-60 days after the last examination date.

Where to Check the CBSE Board Results?

Once the results are declared, students should check the results on the official CBSE websites. Visit the official websites and search for the link named CBSE Class X and Class XII Board results. Click on the link. Students will have to enter the roll number, school ID, date of birth and admit card ID to log in. Submit the details, and your marsheets with results will be displayed.
